Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Chronic fatigue syndrome is an extensive disorder causing extreme fatigue that may worsen with physical or mental activity but does not improve with rest. There is no apparent underlying medical cause or condition; however, some theories include infection or chronic stress. It may be accompanied by unexplained aches and pains, changes in mood, problems concentrating, and lack of interest in activities. Although no tests are used to diagnose the condition, medical examinations may be done to rule out other problems.
