Dermal fillers can be helpful for some cases of hooded eyes. While these are not the most effective for hooded eyes that are genetic, they can make a difference when the cause is related to aging. As individuals age, their face loses some of the collagen and fat that creates its structure. This leads to drooping of the eyebrows, which in turn causes the skin to sag above the eyelids. A dermal filler can lift the eyebrows in a similar manner to botulinum toxin injections.

There are several different dermal fillers on the market. The price will depend on the one patients use. Fillers are gel substances injected into the patient's skin to replace the lost fat, which restores the original structure of the face. Over a million individuals choose to use dermal fillers each year, in part because they are an option that does not require any downtime or invasive surgery. Different fillers are made using different ingredients, and they can last for varying lengths of time.
