Norfloxacin belongs to the group of drugs called quinolones. It comes in tablet form, with a typical dosage of 400 mg two times a day. Minor side effects occur among one percent of users, but other more serious side effects include skin blisters, muscle weakness, joint pain, mood changes, and vision problems.
