Ofloxacin is used for infections of the prostate caused by E. coli. It works to kill bacteria by ceasing production of the proteins the bacteria need for survival. It also stops the repair of the harmful bacteria’s DNA. Caution should be made by users during physical activity because it has been known to weaken tendons. Other side effects include the tendency to get sunburnt, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, insomnia, and itching.
