Symptoms of Hemorrhoids And Fast Acting Treatments
Essential Oils

Many essential oils have wound healing and anti-inflammatory properties to help heal hemorrhoids. A 2005 study found that helichrysum essential oil may help stimulate gastric juices that are needed to prevent digestive issues by breaking down food. It also has anti-inflammatory properties when applied topically. Cypress essential oil can be used to promote blood clotting and stops excess blood flow to the inflamed area due to its astringent and hemostatic properties. It also helps blood vessels contract and tighten, which may reduce anxiety.
Cold Compress

A cold compress may provide relief to the swollen veins near the anus. Sitting on an ice pack may help reduce pain, itching, and swelling. Applying a cold pack to the infected area several times a day to help restrict blood flow to the swollen veins. It can also help heal the swelling of any surrounding tissue and other lower rectal muscles that may be affected by straining, itching or inflammation. Leave the ice pack on for up to twenty minutes at a time.
