Excellent for lateral mobility and coordination. Stand tall near a wall for support. Step your right foot to the side. Cross your left foot behind your right foot. Step your right foot to the side again. Cross your left foot in front of your right foot. Continue this pattern for 5-8 steps, then reverse direction. This movement improves hip mobility, agility, and the ability to change directions smoothly, reducing fall risk during side movements.

Challenge your vestibular system (inner ear balance). Assume the tandem stance (heel-to-toe) near a wall. Once steady, slowly turn your head to look to the right, hold briefly, return to center. Then slowly turn to look left, hold, and return. Keeping your feet still while moving your head forces your body to rely more on ankle and hip strategies for balance. Perform 3-5 head turns each way before switching your lead foot.
