Because egg whites are abundant in vitamins and minerals, so they work in favor of the skin. Egg whites are a natural go-to method for skincare as they both tone and tighten the skin while minimizing the pores in the process. The selenium content helps stop breakouts in their tracks, while the high protein level reduces the size of the pores making it more difficult for acne-causing bacteria to enter. To free your skin of blackheads, apply a generous amount of egg whites directly to your problem area with a small brush then cover the area with toilet paper and allow it to harden before removing it. While the pores constrict, the oil and gunk that fills the blackheads are forced out of the skin. Once it has dried, detach the toilet paper from your skin, and you will be able to see bacteria residue attached to the tissue.

Essential Oils

Essential oils have been linked to curing just about any malady under the sun, so it is no surprise they can eliminate blackheads as well. These oils are one of the most natural forms of medicine as they are oils extracted directly from herbs, plants, and flowers used for healing purposes. Many of these extractions contain astringent, antibacterial, antiseptic, and antifungal properties, making them both versatile and powerful in the fight against acne. In fact, many commercial skincare products contain these natural oils to maximize results and nurture the skin. It was even said tea tree oil is just as effective as the popular over-the-counter acne medication, benzoyl peroxide.

A few of the most popular oils proven to be effective in blackhead elimination are lavender, tea tree, eucalyptus, lemon, lemongrass, and cedarwood. Before application, be sure the skin is as clean as possible to avoid further clogging of the pores. You can then apply the oil directly to the affected area. Keep in mind essential oils are very potent and may cause mild burning. If you find the oil is too strong, dilute it with a carrier oil like jojoba or almond.
