Whether blackheads have plagued your skin or not, apple cider vinegar (ACV) will always leave your skin in better condition than before. ACV contains both antibacterial and antiseptic properties, which purify the skin and kill off the bacteria that causes imperfections. It also contains high quantities of acetic and malic acid, which helps to break down tough buildup within the skin.

Because apple cider vinegar balances the skin's PH level, after regular use, the skin's oil production is reduced, which makes it a practical astringent and skin toner. Applying ACV directly to the skin will unclog the pores and detoxify the area clearing away any toxins, impurities, and bacteria that cause blackheads. Dabbing a generous amount on the face with a cotton ball or mixing it with sodium bicarbonate and using the concoction as a mask are great ways to see fast results. Both types of applications will need to be removed after no more than thirty minutes.
